Application :–

                            Used in Transformer or other sealed tank while Storing / Transportation to provide constant N2 / Inert Gas pressure so as not to allow atmospheric air & moisture.

Working :–

Gas regulator is used to automatically maintains a positive pressure of 0.15 to 0.30 kg / cm. sq. or as desired (pre information necessary) inside the connected tank by help of  attached High Pressure gas cylinder

             In case pressure falls below 0.15 kg / cm. sq.(or as set) due to leakage or temperature variation. Regulator automatically allows required additional gas to flow from the attached High-Pressure gas cylinder (not standard part of our item). This builds up the required pressure. Double Stage regulation beside minimizes the risk also increases the flow rate thus efficiency of system. To know the inlet & outlet pressure, gauges are attached of 2.5” (63 mm) dial size, generally confirming to IS 3624.

                Safety valve at High-Pressure (H.P) & Low-Pressure (L.P.) is attached so that if any unwanted pressure builds up in regulator is released.

H.P. Copper pipe (1 nos.) with brass connection of 5/8” B.S.P. Male / ¾” B.S.P. Female thread is provided to directly connect to cylinder and 3/8” BSP to connect to regulator. L.P. hose normally 3600 mm. long is of PVC (1 No.) with 3/8” B.S.P. female thread outlet connection with Non Return Valve (NRV) of Brass for regulator end and ¼” BSP for Tank End in mounting Flange.

• Model available for single / double cylinder connection also.
• Model available with Flexible Cylinder Pressure Hose of Teflon with S.S. Braid.

Testing :–

1. Each assembly is tested for Functional & Leakage Test for 24 hrs by compressed air / gas after blocking outlet connection .
2. H.P hose is tested at 130 ±10 kg / cm.sq. for 15 minutes.
3. L.P hose is tested at 0.7 kg / cm.sq. for 15 minutes.

Mounting:-  By help of M10 Bolt / M12 Bolt directly to transformer or Frame.

Identification :- Each Regulator bears S. No., Month, Year of manufacturing for proper identification.

Test Certificate :- Test Certificate is provided with each regulator for the above test performed.

Special features are:-

1. Guages of size 63 mm. with white dial to ensure better readability & confirming to IS 3624.
2.  Feature of automatic regulating the pressure desired after single setting thus no intermediate setting is required.
3.  Outlet Rubber hose is provided with Non Return Valve (NRV) to ensure in case of rubber tube leakage the gas in tank does not flows out.
