Application:

Pressure Relief Valve (P.R.V.) is a safety device to used in Transformer, Pressure Tanks & Lines for indoor & outdoor application over Explosion Vent as is suitable for repeated operation.  Is compact , highly reliable and particularly designed to be used on O.L.T.C., Transformers, & similar equipment’s / tank with non corrosive liquid.

Mounting:-

                    Mounting Thread size 1”B.S.P. (G1” to ISO 228)

          Features: (G-1B) / (G-1A)

• Minimum surface area required with reference to flow capacity below & above Tank.
• Reliable Operating Pressure from 20 to 100 kPa. (0.20 to 1.00 kg/cm.sq.)
• Positive Resealing Pressure.
• Operating Temperature   :  0 to 100° C (of tank liquid).
• Sealing  is with Nitrile Rubber “O” Ring.
• Valve Resetting Automatic. Suitable for repeated use.
• Can be used as an Oil Filling Cap too.
• Protective Plastic Cap  Cap directs the Oil Spillage downwards. 

         Different Models available are

1. G-1B completely made of Brass / Model G-1A made of Aluminium.
2. PRV with Nickel -  Plated surface finish is also available.
3. PRV with  Flat Gasket can be provided in place of “O” Ring.
4. PRV with  Viton Rubber can be provided for special application.
5. PRV at different Cracking Pressure (higher/lower) can be supplied as per your request.
6. PRV with S.S. Cap Screwed / Pull Ring  provided as Rain Guard.
7. PRV with Oil Collection Bend..

ROUTINE TEST :

Each P.R.V is calibrated & checked for its Cracking Pressure (Opening) by compressed air.

INSTALLATION:

      Depending upon mounting position preferably at the tank cover or top side is to be provided with leak proof welded, inside mounting 1” B.S.P. Thread Boss of length (20mm.) and tightened with Nitrile Rubber Flat Gasket/ “O” Ring  in between supplied along with PRV.

We manufacture PRV of different opening, port & Operating Pressure for different tank fluids as required.
